Jared Christman

Jared Christman is the Director of Construction Technology at Electri International, which is the Research and Development branch of NECA. As such, his main responsibility is to test new technology, develop workflows, and teach the workflows to the electrical contractor. He has been involved in the electrical construction field his entire career, either in the office, or in the field. Jared has been using Autodesk Products since 1992, and has seen the advancement from DOS based CAD, to 3D modeling with embedded metadata and VDC.

Warren Shill

Warren Shill has over 35-years’ experience in the electrical construction industry, holds a Master Journey-Level Electrician certification in Washington State and is the Educational Coordinator for Greater Puget Sound Electrical Workers and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #46. Warren currently serves as the President of Local #46 and has been an IBEW member for over 33-years.

Additionally, he is a 2003 NTI graduate, an approved Continuing Education instructor in Washington and Oregon, an OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer, and an American Heart Association First Aid instructor. Warren spent 8-years working as an Electrical Inspector and Plans Examiner, then 5-years working for UL’s Regulatory Services providing technical support to inspection authorities. Warren has also served on multiple Electrical Code Technical Advisory Committees.

Susan Bowron

Susan Bowron believes IBEW electricians make the best electrical designers while using construction technology. For the last 15 years Susan has been an active journeyman while training other union members on technology applications such as AutoCAD MEP, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and more. The recent achievement of working with her local apprenticeship to kick off the Construction Technology Program is a huge step forward. She grew up in the Bay Area and resides in Oakland, California. She has a long history of volunteer work and has a soft spot for super-sized English Mastiffs.
