										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nolan E. Fahrer is a Trade, Technology, Engineering, and Industrial Education consultant for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Nolan earned his bachelor’s degree in Technology from Bowling Green State University and his master’s and doctorate degrees in Technology Education from North Carolina State University. He is a National Board Certified Teacher and taught for 11 years in Michigan, Ohio, and North Carolina in grades 7-12 in the areas of Technology Education, Cabinetry, Construction, Architecture, and Engineering Graphics. He then served 7 years as faculty and coordinator of the Technology, Engineering, and Design Education program at NC State University where his teaching specialties included graphic communications, 3D modeling, and teacher preparation.</p>
<p>Nolan has advised and had involvement in numerous student professional organizations in CTE and is currently a member of the Epsilon Pi Tau International Honor Society for Professions in Technology. His current educational interests include improving visual literacy, teacher preparation, and improving career and technical education.</p>

Warren currently serves as the President of Local #46 and has been an IBEW member for over 33-years.</div>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Susan Bowron believes IBEW electricians make the best electrical designers while using construction technology.  For the last 15 years Susan has been an active journeyman while training other union members on technology applications such as AutoCAD MEP, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and more. The recent achievement of working with her local apprenticeship to kick off the Construction Technology Program is a huge step forward.  She grew up in the Bay Area and resides in Oakland, California. She has a long history of volunteer work and has a soft spot for super-sized English Mastiffs.</p>

<p>In 1986 Thom Tremblay began using AutoCAD and by 1988 he became convinced that a 3D model was the best way to create the 2D drawing he needed. The next several years working as a drafter and mechanical designer in shipbuilding, planning, casework, commercial electronics, and centrifugal compressors eventually led Thom using his skills to teach others. With twenty years of experience consulting with businesses and education institutions of all types and sizes, Thom has developed an understanding of how people use and learn technologies. Thom also holds professional certifications in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, and is an Autodesk Certified Instructor. Thom has authored several books on Autodesk Inventor and currently is authoring digital learning content for Fusion 360.</p>
