
Nolan E. Fahrer
Nolan E. Fahrer is a Trade, Technology, Engineering, and Industrial Education consultant for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Nolan earned his bachelor’s degree in Technology from Bowling Green State University and his master’s and doctorate degrees in Technology Education from North Carolina State University. He is a National Board Certified Teacher and taught for 11 years in Michigan, Ohio, and North Carolina in grades 7-12 in the areas of Technology Education, Cabinetry, Construction, Architecture, and Engineering Graphics. He then served 7 years as faculty and coordinator of the Technology, Engineering, and Design Education program at NC State University where his teaching specialties included graphic communications, 3D modeling, and teacher preparation.
Nolan has advised and had involvement in numerous student professional organizations in CTE and is currently a member of the Epsilon Pi Tau International Honor Society for Professions in Technology. His current educational interests include improving visual literacy, teacher preparation, and improving career and technical education.
