Dr. Taghavi-Burris has over 15 years of experience teaching game development and design, along with computer graphics, animation, and web development in higher education. Akram is currently the Instructor of Computer Simulation and Gaming at the University of Tulsa and coordinates several outreach STEM-related events including the annual Computer Simulation and Gaming Conference (CSGC). Throughout her career, Akram has been awarded several prestigious awards for her work such as the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Award and, the Davinci Fellows Award for innovation in teaching.

Quintus Smit

Quintus is a lecturer and freelance software instructor at numerous training centers, Colleges, Universities, and Schools. He is a certified instructor for Autodesk and Unity and has vast experience in teaching at tertiary and adult levels. He has been teaching the application of software in the visual and design industries for more than a decade and has a keen interest in finding efficient techniques in teaching not only what the buttons do, but also how the student can apply the new skills in their own situations. He gets a sense of satisfaction in seeing students grasping the underlying principles of the software applications and seeing their pride as they start exploring the capabilities beyond the classroom. Quintus has a passion for finding new innovative educational techniques and exploring the capabilities of software in the design fields and would gladly assist anyone interested in learning new skills, or teaching in not only developing course content, but also efficient and new delivering techniques.

In 2019 he started his own company where he now designs and creates learning content for various international companies.

Shobhit Baadkar

Shobhit Baadkar is one of the founding partners of TITAN AEC. He started the Los Angeles & San Francisco offices of CVIS and later brokered its acquisition by another Autodesk resller. With over 20 years of experience in design & construction, Shobhit has trained and implemented hundreds of users operating various Autodesk AEC software applications. He is an Autodesk Implementation Certified Expert and an Autodesk Revit Certified Professional. He has been invited to speak nationally at various professional organizations, conferences, and universities throughout the country. He is also an Guest Lecturer at the University of Southern California (USC) where he lectures about Building Information Modeling at Viterbi School of Engineering. Mr. Baadkar heads up all business development and corporate strategy for TITAN AEC.

Shobhit graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Economics. Mr. Baadkar is also an Autodesk Certified Implementation Expert, Autodesk Certified Instructor, and Bluebeam Certified Instructor.

Blaine Grantham, CM-BIM

Blaine Grantham is one of the founding partners of TITAN AEC. He has spent more than 20 years in the AEC industry, which includes experience in the design of ballistics and telecommunication systems. Prior to TITAN AEC, Blaine worked for the State of California (Real Estate Services Division) as the CAD Manager for Studio 2 where he established CAD standards, customized content, and assisted in the implementation of AutoCAD Architecture to 60 users. Blaine is also an Autodesk Implementation Certified Expert. Blaine currently implements BIM solutions throughout the country and instructs various firms on the use of BIM. Mr. Grantham is currently implementing BIM various projects in Northern California and spearheads the usage of laser scanning technology within the AEC market segment.

Blaine studied Architectural Design at Consummes River College. Mr. Grantham is an Autodesk Implementation Certified Expert, Bluebeam Certified Instructor and holds a Certificate of Management in Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM).

Brian Kenney

Our lead instructor at immersiv Education is Brian Kenney. Currently, he is a game design instructor at Centennial High School in Corona, California with over 22 years of teaching experience with programming. He also serves as adjunct professor at Norco College in their game design program. His teaching assignment includes XR and Game Design courses, AP Computer Science, and IB Computer Science. He is well versed in the Java programming language as a Oracle Certified Instructor; in addition, experienced with C#.

Kenney is a firm believer in experiential learning. He shares the Unity educational philosophy of a spiral approach to learning where learners repeat a series of activities, each building upon each other, so by the end of the learning experience they have reached the stated goals and objectives. The end result is a polished project that participants can use to explore other avenues of his courses. He brings this philosophy to immersiv Education for all learners.
