- Training for Faculty & students
- User Assessment & Certification
- Professional Development for Faculty
- Support for participation in Autodesk design competitions
- Help integrating Autodesk software into curriculum and student projects
- Autodesk student and educator expert development
Authorized Academic Partner Value Proposition
PVP = Economics (academic demand, profitability improvement) + Entitlements (local support, partner training, lead generation, co-funding event, enablement kit, partner locator, partnership support) + Ease of Doing Business (lead management, free education software, channel governance)
Program Purpose
Promote training, certification, curriculum development, support, consulting, and other services to Academic Customers
Encourage Academic Customers to teach the use of Autodesk Software Products, services, and resources and participate in Autodesk programs and initiatives, including, without limitation:
- The Autodesk Education Community
- The Autodesk Design Academy (where applicable)
- Use of Autodesk Software to obtain certification credential
- Autodesk Certified Instructor program and Instructor Development Portal
- Autodesk Education learning materials and certifications
- Autodesk Education programs, projects, events and competitions
Authorized Academic Partner Services
- Faculty and student professional and skill development
- Assist Academic customers in obtaining Certifications
- Software implementation and technology integration
- Faculty deployment
- Content development and integration
- TBD additional services for Academic customers

Requirements
- Timely payment of annual Subscription License Fees
- Autodesk Certified Instructor Status
- Year One = 20%
- Year Two = 50%
- Year Three = 75%
- Identification of Main Site and other sites where training will be delivered
- Site must be fully owned by the main AAP or under majority control of the Main AAP Site
- Each Site must offer one course of an Autodesk Software product
- Instructor product authorization and ability to add technical competency with new product releases
- Only an ACI may issue Course of Completion
- Meet Performance targets established by regional Distributor related to: training volume, training customer satisfaction scores, provision of services (see Guide)
- Delivery of eLearning Courses (see Guide)
Qualifying Instructor Criteria
AAP employee or contractor must meet this criteria and have the technical competency and experience to teach a course on an Autodesk Software Product:
- individual has a locally recognized teaching, consulting or support qualification or certificate;
- individual has an active Autodesk Professional Certification on the latest release of products for which Professional Certification is available;
- individual has had at least three (3) years of employment (including providing relevant services) at an Educational Institution (as defined by Autodesk) or at an Authorized Training Center, Authorized Academic Partner or Value Added Reseller;
- Information provided in completed Technical Service Provider Enrolment Form;
- Information provided in CV or resume of proposed provider;
- Copies of certificates that demonstrate training that the provider has received on Autodesk products; and/or
- Samples of work and/or
- Verifiable industry Customer references
